In Ottawa, Ontario, Aliyah and Hesediel are excitedly anticipating their first solar eclipse. We gathered in a park with eclipse glasses on, our hearts pounding as the moon progressively hid the sun. As night fell, we marvelled at the heavenly display together and exchanged silent gasps of wonder. We celebrated with delight when the sun came out to shine once more, thankful for the priceless moment they had spent together as a family.
